What we have investigated?
We studied how much Italians like Nutella ahead of World Nutella Day. We asked “Do you like Nutella?” — Yes, I do VS No, I don’t.
1.000 respondents. The research has been conducted on a representative sample of the Italian population (1.000 people) aged between 18 and 64 years. 50,1% were women and 49,9% were men.
More than 7 out of 10 Italians (74%) say they like Nutella. On the other hand, more than 2 out of 10 Italians say they don’t like Nutella.
As can be seen in the second graph, there are no particularly significant differences between men and women. Both the majority of men and women say that they like Nutella.
Older men aged 55–64 like Nutella more than other age groups. Men aged 35 to 54 also like Nutella, while those aged 25 to 34 say they don’t like it.
Women aged between 35 and 54 are the most likely to like Nutella. The percentage of liking seems to rise as they get older.
Young women (18–24) don’t like Nutella, while the age group with the highest liking percentage is 45–54.
When comparing men and women by age group, the following data stands out: the 18–24 and 55–64 age groups have the same percentage of appreciation of Nutella. We can see the most substantial difference between the 25–34 age group, where women stand out with 74% interest for Nutella against 56% from men.
